PUBGEM held a stakeholder engagement event in Accra, Ghana (February 2023).
Attendees were Heads of the Schools of the Deaf in Ghana involved in the Hearing Impairment Genetics Studies in Africa (HI-GeneS) project to share and discuss preliminary findings from the study and receive their inputs for a hearing impairment resource pack emanating from the study. We were also joined by a representative from the Department of Health.
