Public Education and engagement are at the heart of PUBGEM-Africa. We are committed to empowering individuals and communities with knowledge about genomics, big data, and their implications for science, medicine and society. We hope to do this through public dialogues, building capacity, and educational initiatives that can help bridge the gap between advancements in genomics and big data and public understanding of these concepts and the different benefits and impact on their lives, communities and societies at large.
