UCT Learners – Open days

The Division of Human Genetics, Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Cape Town hosted 230 attendees (comprising 210 learners and 20 teachers) from 23 schools across the Western Cape Province on Monday, the 26th of August 2024.

The Open Day forms a part of our mission to improve awareness regarding tertiary education and job opportunities in the field of medical science and technology and social responsiveness. The event includes interactive stations that encompass Human Genetics, Cell Biology, Haematology, Forensic Genetics, and Human Biology.
