Engagement in Ghana

We participated in the annual WHO World Hearing Day by co-hosted a two-day event in Ghana World Hearing Day 2025: Changing Mindsets to Make Ear and Hearing Care a Reality for All - West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens.

Through the World Hearing Day outreach event, local communities were directly engaged with tailored health information, interactive sessions, and distribution of educational materials on hearing impairment and genetics. These activities are aimed at creating awareness, improving access to ear healthcare and addressing social issues such as stigmatization and lack of knowledge.
