
Ms Otshepeng Mazibuko

Miss Otshepeng Mazibuko obtained her BSocSci in Population and Development Studies (2018) from North-West University, Mafikeng Campus. She then completed her BSocSci Hons in Development Studies (2019) and Master of Social Sciences (2021) with the University of Pretoria.
She was part of the executive committee for the Development Studies Student Organisation (DSSO), responsible for raising awareness on societal issues and collaborating with different disciplines as the field is multidisciplinary. She volunteered with various world youth organizations including the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, where she was part of the Monitoring and Evaluation project with Switzerland (2022).
She was then appointed as a project manager for the Social Entrepreneurship project, that Girl Guides South Africa partnered with Denmark. She is currently employed as the Research Assistant for the PUBGEM-Africa project and completing her PhD in Development studies. She is also part of the DS-I Partnerships and Outreaching Working Group. She is an adrenaline junkie. Her motto is ‘Under all difficulties, be a little kinder’.
