Ms Martha Kamkuemah

Postdoctoral fellow

Ms Kamkuemah’s current responsibilities include conducting data analysis for research studies associated with the SickleInAfrica Sickle Cell Disease registry, with the focus on improving data quality and analysis methodologies. She also lectures the Multi-Agent Systems module within the Computational Health and Informatics master’s programme. Additionally, she is preparing a manuscript focused on comparing imputation approaches in disease-specific registries. Her current research interests are focused on the identification of established and novel mutations within the hemoglobin genes, aiming to advance the understanding of hemoglobinopathies such as sickle cell disease and thalassemia.
