Mr Wonkam Tingang is a General Practitioner, graduated from the University of Yaoundé I (in Cameroon) in 2015. He has a lot of interest in Human Genetics; for his MD graduation, he issued a thesis named: Clinical and genetic aspects of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in some Cameroonian patients. He is currently enrolled in a PhD program in Human Genetics at the University of Cape Town, and focus his research in the genetic aetiology of hereditary hearing loss in Cameroon.
