Hearing impairment resource pack for South Africa

This resource guide has been created to provide families, who have members that are hard of hearing or Deaf, with information and contact details for various organisations, schools and other facilities that are aimed at serving the Deaf community.

Most of the organisations/facilities listed in this guide are either government lead or non-profit operated, therefore, there are many private practices for speech and audiology that have not been listed. The guide has information specific to each province of South Africa (Wester Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, KwaZulu Natal, Free State, Gauteng, North West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga) and information that is applicable to people based anywhere in the country.
